Pre-Sale & Post Sale Support
Pre-sale support focuses on application, planning and design issues. TC Comm sales engineers and certified application engineers will work with you to answer all technical design questions, including providing you with detailed diagrams to illustrate how proposed products will work in your network.
Post-sales support typically includes installation, testing, software/firmware upgrades & troubleshooting issues. If applicable, a Return Manufacturing Authorization (RMA) will be issued. If a troubleshooting situation arises, TC will make every effort to keep a customer's network in full operation.
CCIE & CCNP Support Staff
TC Comm's technical support team is highly qualified and includes Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineers (CCIE) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Engineers. In addition, the TC Comm Engineering laboratory, fully equipped with the latest in advanced testing equipment, can also be used to help simulate, diagnose or analyze most network problems.
Product Warranty
All TC Communications products come with a 5-year warranty and a well-deserved reputation for quality. Before shipping, every product undergoes "live operating temperature" testing in an environmental chamber for more than 24 hours. TC Comm takes the position that its customer networks are too important for less reliable Statistical or Batch testing techniques. TC Comm is 9001:2000 certified.

TC Comm recognizes that its customers sometimes need specialized assistance with design, engineering & commissioning efforts. To address this need and complement its high level of customer service, TC Comm offers several Value-Added Services* including:
- Advanced Conceptual Network Design
- Factory Acceptance Test Service
- Set-Up and Test Assistance
Advanced Conceptual Network Design - With its team of networking experts, including JumboSwitch application engineers and licensed CCIE or CCNP, TC Comm will support and assist customer engineers in all phases of network design. If necessary, TC will also send its JumboSwitch application/design team to your site or your customer's site for consultation, presentations and question-answer sessions.
*Factory Acceptance Test Service - - A simulated environment shall be set up at the TC Comm factory to test all inter-connecting equipment and the JumboSwitch network for compliance to requirements and design goals before delivery.
*Set-Up and Test Assistance - TC technical staff will assist customer engineers to test interconnectivity with links and equipment which have not been simulated during the FAT phase. Typically, the majority of these tasks are done at a central staging area before shipping to individual remote locations for final installation and commissioning.

TC Comm offers beginning and advanced levels of technical training and education for its Ethernet, Voice and Data network products at its corporate office in Irvine, California or at a customer's site.*
In addition, a wide variety of pertinent educational literature and resources are available on www.jumboswitch.com and www.tccomm.com. Literature and resources includes product catalogs, data sheets, technical FAQ's, white paper articles, application articles and application notes.

Training Courses
